In this highly original and breath-takingly argued book, Ervin Laszlo produces a new view of the cosmos, an interconnected, all-embracing cosmos of which we are all part. By integrating the established vision of scientists with the paradoxes for which they cannot offer any explanation, his vision is a combination of agreed scientific wisdom and the exciting world of “new science.”

This book is a fascinating journey to a revelation of a memory-filled, interacting and self-ordering cosmos – the fathomless and timeless whispering pond.

"Confronts head-on the great questions of humankind – our origins, our destiny, and our role in the universe…. This book could be written only by someone possessing great courage and wisdom. Laszlo has both. This is a fitting book for the beginning of a new millennium, because our future – if ware are to have one – must rest on this or a similar vision.”
-- Larry Dossey, M.D., author of Healing Words, Recovering the Soul

“Ervin Laszlo, once again, has put his finger squarely on the critical issues. The tools now in human hands which will shape destiny in the next century are too powerful to be used by anyone without understanding the meaning of The Whispering Pond.”
-- Edgar Mitchell, Apollo 14 astronaut and author of The Way of the Explorer
